Effie stalks snow in the absence of bugs, and even birds. . .
She pauses to contemplate recent changes in her world. . .
A familiar ladder!
Ladders are for climbing!
And toes are for stalking!

Wow you’ve got snow already?!? Here in London it’s still mild

Yup. We sometimes get snow in November! We’re at 1300 ft elevation, and this is the windy, mutable prairie. 🙂

O.O. We had a week of cold weather and now it’s back to mild but grey weather here in London lol

We still have snow and snow continues to mend its blanket. I think we’re well on the way to dispelling the ruse of global warming and recalling that “climate change” is a regular occurrence–daily where I live! But I’m not getting into it with TBs. 😐

It’s a rural thing, Marc. We have this bizarre need to slug it out in tough country. 🙂

Yeah London is too mild for that. I remember the snow times from when I lived in the country side in Germany.

Our cold is usually the dry cold, but cold is cold and I’m sensitive to it. But I’m more sensitive to urban life with millions of people. So, mein freund, we make our choices. We have a wonderfully diverse planet with something for everybody!

That is very true. But trust me I’m starting to have enough of the millions of people in London. Been here for ten years. Might be time for a country side break haha.

Thank you, Sue! I hope Effie thinks she’s in “the wild”–we’re really in a “rural subdivision.” (But of course, her sense of things defines her reality.) ^-!-^
