Wild turkey Mom and kids
Mom Turkey
Turkey family
While having breakfast, we noticed these wild turkeys joining us as we watched them through our dining room window. It’s early for Thanksgiving, but not too early for wild turkeys making rounds. They come through our yard every year, and they are always welcome to enhance our scenery. My husband Vic dashed out with his SLR and took these photos.
Which one are you calling thanksgiving? Cheers,H

You would make a good American, Harini! Benjamin Franklin tried to install the wild turkey as America’s national bird. The bald eagle won of course.

We have a lot of these around. They like to play chicken by running into the road.

Hi, Leah,
I thought of fall too, until the temperature hit 102°. 🐱

Wow! Oddly enough, we have cooler than usual temperatures in the southeast right now.

It’s been strange everywhere. The Idaho forest fires have been intermittently smoking us out. The temperature changes are fairly extreme, like 60-100+ It’s bizarre.
