Thanks, Akuokuo! Strangely it’s the only one like it in our garden. More weirdly, the deer only eat our red tulips and leave all the yellow ones alone!
That is amazing! Deer are interesting, magical in many ways…but, maybe they are color blind?
I just Googled “can deer see colors” and there’s a heap of conflicting theories. . .maybe they see colors perfectly well but prefer the taste of some over others. . .
That is so neat– that colors could signify a certain flavor. So much to learn 🙂
Whoa–it’s only speculative–I have no idea whether colors correlate with flavors. All l found was that deer can distinguish some colors.
