The day was windier and colder than the Weather Channel represented; this probably was especially noticeable to the brave couple our pastor baptized in the Snake River this afternoon.

After dinner, a little rain fell, then a little sunset glow and a rainbow’s tail momentarily tinged the hills. I shot the above photo from our deck just before the colors faded from twilight to evening, thinking the colors marked the end of a fine and festive Sabbath.
